My name is Trudy.
In 2007, I moved from the Netherlands to Hungary.
That was quite a change.
My beauty salon in the bustling heart of Scheveningen was replaced by a historic estate dating back to 1867, nestled in nature in a tiny village in Hungary.
The Porva Inn - Greenvalley Estate is large.
Maintaining and cultivating the land and restoring and furnishing the buildings on it is a full-time job.
The main building is now available for rent as a beautiful holiday home that sleeps 15.
The beautiful garden features a lovely swimming pool with sun terraces and a veranda.
You can also cook or BBQ in the garden using traditional Hungarian methods over an open fire.
My love for vintage items dates back to my childhood. When I discovered the vintage scene, I was immediately hooked.
In Hungary, the availability of paint materials is much more limited, and I slowly developed my own techniques to create my own vintage style. Now I think it would be fun to share this experience with others in workshops.
